Nevada ENERGY STAR® Home Program
for Homebuilders in Nevada

ENERGY STAR® Home Program
Southwest Gas will support homebuilders' participation in ENERGY STAR qualification by assisting with the cost of testing and inspection of new homes at the rate of $450 per qualifying home. Homebuilders may also receive additional rebates for the purchase and installation of eligible natrual gas equipment (see below). For more information on ENERGY STAR homes, click here.

Rebate Application Details
Rebates are available for homes certified and for equipment purchased between December 1, 2011 through November 30, 2012 or until program funds are no longer available, whichever comes first. Due to limited funding, please submit your Rebate Application as soon as possible. Homes must be certified and completed and equipment must be installed before submitting a Rebate Application. Rebate Applications will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis. Completed Rebate Applications must be postmarked by December 15, 2012+, whichever comes first.

+Program participation dates are subject to funding availability and may change without notice. Program and submission deadline dates will be updated on the Southwest Gas website.

Eligible Equipment, Requirements, and Rebate Levels

Home Certification ENERGY STAR certified (V3) $450
Natural Gas Furnace Annual Fuel Utilization Efficiency (AFUE) > 95% $300
Natural Gas Furnace Annual Fuel Utilization Efficiency (AFUE) > 90% $200
Natural Gas Tankless Water Heater ENERGY STAR qualified $200

Some equipment may also qualify for a federal tax credit*
